Welcome to the first Thriveabetes video interview of 2021 with Emma O’Toole and Niamh Downes from the Dublin Adults with Type 1 Diabetes Group which celebrated 10 years of existence in February 2021.

This week’s blog post comes from Ashling O’Kelly in Limerick, whose diabetes journey began with being misdiagnosed with type 2 diabetes and three months later she was admitted to hospital through A&E and correctly diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of 42 years.
